What it means to us
Whenever you make something, chances are there will be weakspots. The good customers are going to let you know what those weakspots are. They are going to tell you and sometimes they are going to be pretty vocal about it. Some people will advise you that, when this happens, you should have a thick skin. “Just make your customers happy,” they might say. For us, it’s not just about listening to the problems our customers have. It’s about understanding what those problems are and understanding those problems as completely as possible. Because the goal is to solve the problem. The lesson for us is this: take on your customer’s problem as if it were your own and solve the problem so that you can create experiences that continually delight them.
